GROW ORGANIC DAY… a 501(c)(3) non profit organization devoted to supporting organic gardens to future generations by installing gardens in schools and to increase awareness of how easy it is to grow your own fruits and vegetables.

Grow Organic Day is a celebration of living an Organic lifestyle to its fullest. Organic living is not just about food but about a way of life!   This year we are hosting a festival to celebrate organic living.  For the first time, anyone can come, see and learn all the organic options that are available to them.  An event of this size and magnitude has never been done before.  We are not just going to be talking about change. . . but we are providing the tools to make change happen TODAY.

Grow Organic Day is a unique concept; there is nothing like this anywhere in Southern California!  A large number of vendors are pulled together in ONE location that offers information about how to tend to your home or school garden using clean, organic and sustainable products.

All children in every school should have the opportunity to participate in growing fruits and vegetables at school! The process assists young students to learn about biology, science, math, language, critical thinking, working as team, and increasing their self esteem and a high sense of accomplishment!  Children who participate in growing and preparing their own food are more likely to make better choices about the foods they eat.
